On the counterfaçade over the entrance is a tablet with an epigraph commemorating the construction, and over that a relief coat-of-arms of Cardinal Gastaldi inserted into a broken segemental pediment. Cardinal Girolamo Gastaldi funded the rebuilding of the church in 1675. His coat-of-arms appears all over the church.
